Entering a New Fax Number
You can specify a fax number using

(numeric keys),
, and
. You can also specify several numbers in succession, and send the original to several destinations in a single operation (Sequential Broadcast).
1.
Press
→ [Fax].
2.
Enter the recipient's fax number using
-
(numeric keys),
, and
.

If [Set Details] is displayed:
Press [Set Details].
Press [Subaddress].
Enter the recipient's subaddress using
-
(numeric keys),
, and
.
Press [Password].
Enter the password using
-
(numeric keys),
, and
.
If the recipient did not set a password for the target subaddress, you do not need to enter a password.

If you want to attach a subaddress to your send job, make sure that the recipient's fax machine supports ITU-T (International Telecommunication Union - Telecommunication Standardization Sector) standard subaddresses. (See "Sending with a Subaddress.")

Select the telephone line → press [OK].

If [Subaddress] is displayed:
Press [Subaddress].
Press [Subaddress].
Enter the recipient's fax number using

Press [Password].
Enter the password using

Press [OK].
If the recipient did not set a password for the target subaddress, you do not need to enter a password.

You cannot insert a pause and a subaddress at the beginning of a number.

NOTE
|
If you enter a pause at the end of the number, the pause is always 10 seconds long.
