Checking the Status of Consumables and Other Information

You can check the status of consumables, such as detailed paper information and the remaining amount of toner and staples, the backup status of the stored data, and the connection status of the Advanced Space. You can also register/set the paper type to load in a paper drawer.

Press (Status Monitor/Cancel).

Press [Consmbls./Others].

Select the paper you want to check → press [Details].
You can press  to enlarge the displayed list.
Press [OK].
To check other information:
Check the percentage of memory usage, amount of waste toner, and the remaining amounts of toner and staples.
NOTE
The table below indicates the remaining amount of consumables.

To check the connection status of the Advanced Space:
Press [Adv. Space Conn. Status].
Check the number and the IP addresses of the connected clients.
NOTE
[Adv. Space Conn. Status] does not appear in the following case:
<Advanced Box/Network> in [Store Location Display Settings] in [Display Settings] in [Preferences] (Settings/Registration) is set to 'Off'.
If the Advanced Space is open to public via SMB and [Use SMB] in [Preferences] (Settings/Registrations) is set to 'On', clients connected to the SMB printer will also be displayed and counted as the connected clients. For instructions on setting the Advenced Space to open to public via SMB or WebDAV, see "Advanced Space/Network Settings."
To check the backup status of the stored files:
Check the backup status of the stored files.

To register/set a paper type:
Press [Reg.].
Select an item to register/set → register/set the paper type.
[Paper Settings]:
Sets the paper type to load by selecting a paper source.
[Paper Type Management Settings]:
Registers a user-defined paper type by entering a name.
