License Authentication Procedures

The authentication procedure for a node lock license differs depending on whether the computer you are using is connected to the Internet. Verify that the license authentication procedure matches the system you are using.

Start the license authentication.
2.
Select Online Authentication.
3.
Enter the License Access Number.
4.
Check the License Agreement.
5.
Register the user information.
6.
License authentication is complete.

Online Authentication

Performing License Authentication without Connecting to the Internet

1.
Start the license authentication.
2.
Select [Create Request Data/User Information] in [Offline Authentication].
3.
Enter the License Access Number.
4.
Check the License Agreement.
5.
Register the user information.
6.
Create a Request Data File and User Information File.
7.
Send the Request Data File and User Information File to your Canon dealer.
8.
Retrieve a License File from your Canon dealer.
9.
Start the license authentication.
10.
Select [Read License] in [Offline Authentication].
11.
License authentication is complete.
