Connecting to a Wireless LAN by Searching for a Router (Access Point Setup Mode)

Search for a wireless LAN router (access point) from the machine, and enter the network key (password).
When you connect with access point setup mode, the following authentication and encryption methods are set:
WEP authentication method: Open System
Encryption for WPA/WPA2/WPA3: AES-CCMP or TKIP is set automatically according to the selected wireless LAN router.

A wireless LAN connection requires Administrator or NetworkAdmin privileges.
Required Preparations
Prepare the information of the SSID (network name) and network key of the wireless LAN router to which you want to connect, and keep it close by. Wireless LAN Router Information Required for Connection

Log in to the machine as an administrator. Logging In to the Machine

On the control panel, press [ Settings/Registration] in the [Home] screen or other screen. [Home] Screen
The [Settings/Registration] screen is displayed.

Press [Preferences]  [Network]  [Wireless LAN]  [Wireless LAN Settings].
The [Wireless LAN Settings] screen is displayed.

Press [Other (Set Manually)]  [Select Access Point].
The machine starts searching for an wireless LAN router.

Select the SSID of the wireless LAN router to which you want to connect, and press [OK].
The [Enter Network Key] screen is displayed.
When connecting to a wireless LAN router using WPA-EAP, WPA2-EAP, or WPA3-EAP security standards, the message [The settings specified in IEEE 802.1X Settings will be applied to the connection.] is displayed. Press [OK] and proceed to Step 7.
If you cannot find the wireless LAN router to which you want to connect, check that the router is discoverable. Cannot Connect to Wireless LAN

Press [WEP Key] or [Encryption Key], enter the network key, and press [OK].

When [Connected.] appears on the screen of the machine, press [OK].

Set the IP address.
NOTE
If an Error Message Appears during Operation and a Connection Cannot Be Established
Press [OK], check the information (SSID and network key) of the wireless LAN router to which you want to connect, and repeat the procedure starting from Step 4.
