Creating a Personal Space in Advanced Space

You can create a Personal Space in Advanced Space and use it as a storage space for individual users.
A Personal Space is a non-open space that can only be accessed by the login user that created it and is suitable for storing files used only by that user.
 
Use the control panel to create a Personal Space. You cannot create a Personal Space by using Remote UI from a computer.
Required Preparations
Open Advanced Space on the network. Preparations for Using Advanced Space
* Set the Advanced Space open settings [Authentication Management] and [Allow to Create Personal Space] to [On].
   To change the [Authentication Management] or [Allow to Create Personal Space] setting separately, see the following:

Log in to the machine. Logging In to the Machine

On the control panel, press [Access Stored Files] in the [Home] screen. [Home] Screen
The screen for selecting the storage space is displayed.

Press [Advanced Space].
If the Advanced Space login screen is displayed, enter the same user name and password used to log in to the machine, and press [OK].
* If you select [Store Password], you can skip logging into Advanced Space the next time.

Press [Edit Personal Space]  [Create Personal Space].
Each user can only create one Personal Space.
* You can create multiple folders within a Personal Space.
* If a Personal Space already exists, [Delete Personal Space] is displayed instead of [Create Personal Space].

Press [Yes].
A Personal Space is created.
The login user name becomes the name of the public folder (folder on the network) in the Personal Space.
NOTE
Changing the Name of the Public Folder in the Personal Space
In Step 4, press [Edit Personal Space]  [Rename Opened Folder] to change the name of the public folder.
Deleting a Personal Space
In Step 4, press [Edit Personal Space]  [Delete Personal Space]  [Yes] to delete your Personal Space.
An administrator with Administrator privileges can delete the Personal Space of a user using the procedure below. You can also delete the Personal Space of all users at the same time.
Log in to Remote UI as an administrator, and press [Settings/Registration]  [Store/Access Files]  [Advanced Space Settings]  [Delete Personal Space]  select the Personal Space to delete, and press [Delete] or [Delete All]  [OK]
