Preparations for Using a USB Memory Device
This enables saving of scanned data to a USB memory device and printing of files in a USB memory device.

This section describes how to configure the settings using Remote UI from a computer.
On the control panel, select [
Settings/Registration] in the [Home] screen or other screen, and then select [Function Settings] to configure the settings. [Use Scan/Print Function]
Administrator or DeviceAdmin privileges are required. The machine must be restarted to apply the settings.

Log in to Remote UI as an administrator. Starting Remote UI

On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Settings/Registration]. Remote UI Portal Page

Click [Store/Access Files] 
[Memory Media Settings].
[Memory Media Settings].The [Memory Media Settings] screen is displayed.

Select the [Use Scan Function] or [Use Print Function] checkbox, and click [OK].

Restart the machine. Restarting the Machine
The settings are applied.

If a USB Memory Device Is Not Displayed or Recognized
On the control panel, configure the settings to display [Memory Media] in [Scan and Store] or [Access Stored Files] in the [Home] screen. [Store Location Display Settings]
When Use MEAP Driver for USB Storage Device is enabled, the USB memory device may not be recognized even if connected correctly. [Use MEAP Driver for USB Storage Device]
