Canon multifunction machines and printers have a security policy function for collectively configuring and managing multiple security settings according to a policy. On the machine, security policies can be managed from Remote UI.

Configuring the Security Policy
It is recommended to set a dedicated password in advance so that only information security personnel who know the password can configure the security policy.
The security policy function aims to centrally manage the functions and settings related to information security. It does not prevent information leakage itself.
