[Acquire Remote Address Book]

Configure the settings for using the Address Book of another machine on the network (Remote Address Book).

Set whether to use the Address Book of another machine, which is open to the public on the network, as a Remote Address Book.

NOTE
If the System Manager information is configured on the other machine (server machine) with the open Address Book, the System Manager ID and PIN of the server machine and this machine are required to match for using the Address Book as a Remote Address Book.

Set the IP address (IPv4/IPv6) or host name of another machine (server machine) with an Address Book that is open.
The Address Book of the specified server machine can be used as a Remote Address Book on this machine.
[ Settings/Registration] [Set Destination] [Acquire Remote Address Book]
Set the amount of time from when the machine starts retrieving the destinations until the timeout occurs, when you are using a Remote Address Book on the machine. If the specified amount of time elapses without receiving a response from the Canon multifunction machine (server machine) that holds the Address Book, the machine stops retrieving the destinations.
15 to 30 to 120 sec.

Set whether to disable the TX line setting registered to the destination and automatically select the line instead, when you send a fax to a destination retrieved from a Remote Address Book.
