Saving Scanned Documents to a USB Memory Device

You can save data scanned with the machine to a USB memory device connected to the machine.
This is convenient when using scanned data on a computer without a network connection or when on the go.
Required Preparations
The settings enable saving of scanned data to a USB memory device. Preparations for Using a USB Memory Device
On the control panel, scan a document with the machine from [Scan and Store] in the [Home] screen, and save the scanned data to a USB memory device. Saving Scanned Data to a USB Memory Device
* You can also scan a document from [Access Stored Files] in the [Home] screen, and save it to a USB memory device. Using [Access Stored Files] to save the data is useful if you want to print the file immediately with the machine. Operating Files on a USB Memory Device
NOTE
When the Shortcut Screen Is Displayed with a USB Memory Device Connected
When a shortcut screen with available functions is displayed after inserting a USB memory device into the machine, you can press [Scan and Store in Memory Media] to immediately save data from [Scan and Store].
