You can change the size of the File List View Pane by dragging the left corner of the File List View Pane.
In the File List View Pane, you can select the document view method: thumbnail view or list view.
Follow one of the steps below to manually refresh the Desktop Browser display.
Click  (Refresh) on the address bar.
Select the [View] menu > [Refresh].
Press the [F5] key on the keyboard.
The files that can display thumbnails and the conditions for displaying them are as follows. However, the icon of the application that created the document is displayed without the thumbnail appearing in the SharePoint Server Library.
File type
Condition
PDF documents (*.pdf)
A passworded PDF document cannot display thumbnails.
When the thumbnail display is used, the number of pages in the PDF document is also displayed. Select the [Display number of pages in the Thumbnail] check box to display the number of pages in the PDF document. However, the number of pages is not displayed in a Document Server Library.
[Settings] > [System Settings] > [Browser] > [Display Settings] > [Display number of pages in the Thumbnail]
Binder documents (*.iwb)
All binder documents can display thumbnails.
XPS documents (*.xps)
All XPS documents can display thumbnails.
Image documents (*.jpg/*.jpeg, *.bmp, *.tif/*.tiff)
Image documents other than "*.jpg/*.jpeg", "*.bmp" and "*.tif/*.tiff" can be displayed according to the codec installed on OS.
Office documents (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint documents)
Office documents saved with thumbnails can be displayed. PowerPoint documents can be displayed even if they are not saved with thumbnails.
Selecting Documents and/or Folders from the File List View Pane
1.
Select a folder in the File List View Pane, and click (Open) on the Toolbar. Or, follow one of the steps described below.
Select a folder in the File List View Pane > select the [File] menu > [Open Document] > [Open].
Right-click the folder in the File List View Pane and select [Open]
Double-click a folder in the File List View Pane
The folders and documents stored in the selected folder are displayed.
Note
If buttons are not displayed on the Desktop Browser Toolbar, set the buttons on the Toolbar. For more information, see the following.

Select a folder(s) and/or document(s) in the File List View Pane.

Displaying the Upper Level Folder

1.
Click (Up) on the Address Bar.
Or, follow one of the steps described below.
Select the [View] menu > [Go To] > [Up One Level].
Press the [Alt] + [↑] keys on the keyboard.
The display moves to the items in the upper level folder.
Moving to the Previously or Subsequently Displayed Folder
1.
Click (Back) or (Forward) on the Address Bar.
Or, follow one of the steps described below.
Select the [View] menu > [Go To] > [Back] or [Forward]
Press the [Alt] + [←]/[→] keys on the keyboard.
Items in the previously or subsequently displayed folder are displayed.
Note
If you click the to the right of  (Forward), the history of the last ten views is displayed. If you click view history, the items in the selected folder are displayed.
When you specify a folder as a monitoring target, the folder is displayed with . Documents in a monitoring target are highlighted. For details on monitored folders and highlighting, see the following.

Changing the Header of the File List View Pane

You can change the items displayed in the header of the File List View Pane.
1.
Right-click the header of the File List View Pane, and select [Choose Details].
Or, select the [View] menu > [Choose Details].
The [Choose Details] dialog box is displayed.
2.
Select the check boxes for the items to display in the header of the File List View Pane.
3.
To change the order of the items, select an item and click [Up]/[Down].
4.
Click [OK].
Note
The items that can be displayed in the header of the File List View Pane depend on the library.
You cannot change the header display settings for My Tray or the checkout folder.
