Specifying the Color Mode on a Chapter Basis
You can configure the color mode settings for the specified chapter differently from the entire document.

The color mode setting is prioritized in the order page > chapter > document.
If the Canon printer selected in [Printer Name] does not support color printing, color mode on a Chapter Basis cannot be specified.
When a Canon printer is selected and [Use print settings of Document Binder] is selected, these settings can be configured.
If [Apply color mode settings to preview] is deselected, the preview is displayed in color even if [Black & White] is set for the color mode.
The color mode setting is saved together with the binder document as the print setting information of the binder document.

You can set the color mode to use only for the specified page. For more information on these settings, see the following.

In addition, refer to the following as necessary.
1.
Select 
(chapter) for the chapter for which you want to configure color mode settings in the [Page Tree] list in the Navigation Pane.

Click 
(Chapter Settings) on the Toolbar.
(Chapter Settings) on the Toolbar.Or, follow the procedure below.
Select the [Document] menu > [Chapter Settings].
Right-click a chapter name for which you want to change the settings on the [Page Tree] list, and select [Chapter Settings].
The [Chapter Settings] dialog box is displayed.

If buttons are not displayed on the Document Binder Toolbar, set the buttons on the Toolbar. For more information, see the following.

3.
Select the [Specify color mode for selected chapter] check box in the [Print Settings] tab.
4.
Select the color mode you want to set in [Color Mode].
5.
Select [Apply color mode settings to preview] when you want the settings to be reflected in the preview.
6.
Click [OK].

The setting items in [Color Mode] vary depending on the printer selected in [Printer Name].
If you set the color mode for a chapter, the chapter icon displayed in the [Page Tree] list changes to the
 icon and the chapter name changes to blue.If booklet printing is set when changing the color mode on a chapter basis, the pages of chapters whose settings have not been edited may also have their color mode changed.
If the original document is composed of three chapters/12 pages and the third chapter's color mode is set to [Black & White], the pages on the same sheet of paper (pages 1-4) as the third chapter are also printed as [Black & White].
