Specifying the Color Mode on a Page Basis

You can configure the color mode settings for the specified pages differently from the entire document or the chapter.

Note
The color mode setting is prioritized in the order page > chapter > document.
If the Canon printer selected in [Printer Name] does not support color printing, you cannot specify the color mode on a page basis.
When a Canon printer is selected and [Use print settings of Document Binder] is selected, these settings can be configured.
If [Apply color mode settings to preview] is deselected, the preview is displayed in color even if [Black & White] is set for the color mode.
The color mode setting is saved together with the binder document as the print setting information of the binder document.
For more information on how to configure the color mode for the entire document, see the following.
You can set the color mode to use only for the specified chapter. For more information on these settings, see the following.
In addition, refer to the following as necessary.

Specifying Color Mode

1.
Select (Page) for the page for which you want to configure color mode settings in the [Page Tree] list in the Navigation Pane.
If the [Page Tree] list is not displayed, see the following.
2.
Select the color mode from [Color Mode for Original Pages] in the [Document] menu.
Or, right-click the page whose settings are to be changed in the [Page Tree] list, and then select the color mode to set in [Color Mode for Original Pages].
Note
The setting items in [Color Mode] vary depending on the printer selected in [Printer Name].
If you set the color mode for a page, the page icon displayed in the [Page Tree] list changes to the  or icon and the page number changes to blue.
The color mode settings for each page take priority over the entire document or chapter color mode settings.
If booklet printing is set, if even one page is set for color mode in a print page, the entire print page uses color mode.
When performing booklet printing for a document with eight original pages, if you set [Black & White] for the second page, the seventh page will also be set to [Black & White]. This is because the second and seventh original pages are printed on the same paper surface.
