Inserting Text Stamps

With Annotation Editor, you can insert fixed text as an annotation into PDF documents and binder documents.
Note
You can insert newly registered text stamps, as well as the text stamps that are registered automatically during installation.
Also see the following as necessary.

Click on the right side of (Text Stamps) in the Object Palette Pane.
Or, select the [Annotations] menu > [Text Stamps].
The submenu or the pull-down menu is displayed.
Note
When you click (Text Stamps), the last text stamp used can be selected.
When you want to use a text stamp multiple times, double-click Text Stamps (). When you double-click Text Stamps (), it is locked while being selected and can be inserted multiple times.

You can click on the Toolbar to continuously insert annotations. For more information, see the following.

Select a text stamp to insert.
The properties of the selected text stamp are displayed in the Object Palette Pane.

Configure the properties of the text stamp.
[Edit Date and Time]
The [Edit Date and Time] dialog box is displayed. For more information, see the following.
[Font]
Select the font to use from the list displayed when you click . The list displays the fonts installed in your computer.
[Size]
Select the font size to use from the list displayed when you click . You can also enter the font size directly. Font sizes that can be configured are between 3.0 and 72.0 points.
[Style]
Configure the style to use. Click this button to switch between ON/OFF. You can combine more than one style.
[Bold]
Turn this button ON when configuring the bold style.
[Italic]
Turn this button ON when configuring the italic style.
[Underline]
Turn this button ON when setting the underline style.
[Strikethrough]
Turn this button ON when setting the strikethrough.
[Stamp Color]
Select the stamp color to use from the list displayed when you click . When you want to use a color that is not available in the list, click [More Colors].
[More Colors]
If you click this, the [Color] dialog box is displayed. Using the [Color] dialog box, you can set a color that is not listed in [Stamp Color].
[Transparency]
The slider position and the numeric value (%) indicate the degree of transparency of the text stamp. To change the degree of transparency, move the slider to left or right, or enter a numeric value.
[Edit Stamp]
Display the [Edit Stamp] dialog box. For more information, see the following.
[Restore Original Value]
Restores the changed stamp property settings to the values set when the stamp was registered. This is only valid before inserting a stamp.
Note
The current settings are previewed in the top section of the properties.

Move the mouse pointer to the Work Pane.
The shape of mouse pointer becomes , and then a preview of the selected text stamp is displayed.
Note
To cancel insertion and return the mouse pointer to the original shape, perform the following operation.
Click (Select Object) on the Object Palette Pane
Press the [Esc] key on the keyboard

Set the preview where you want to insert a text stamp, and then click it.
Note
If you perform one of the following operations before clicking the position, the mouse pointer will return to the original shape and insertion will be cancelled.
Click  (Select Object) on the Object Palette Pane
Press the [Esc] key on the keyboard
If the edge of the text stamp exceeds the edge of the page, the position of the text stamp is automatically moved to fit in the page.

Click on the work pane outside the stamp you inserted to deselect the stamp.
Note
To change a stamp you have inserted, select the inserted stamp and change the properties in the Object Palette Pane.
Stamps registered by users can be edited.
