Check the Following.

Is the [Job] indicator lit or blinking? In this case, printing is in progress. Please wait for a while. If the remaining data is not printed even after a while, select <Form Feed> or <Soft Reset> in the Reset menu.
Reset Menu Is (Online) lit? If it is not lit, press (Online) to set the machine to online.
[Online] key Can you print by Status Print or Network Status Print? If you can print, the machine has no problem. Check the configured network and computer settings.
Printing Lists and Reports Can you print a Windows test page? If you can print, neither machine nor computer has any problem. Check the print settings configured in the application you are using.

If the problems persist, check the items that suit your operational environment.

If you are using the LAN connection
Is the correct port selected?
Checking the Printer Port If the correct port is selected, click [Configure Port] of the [Ports] tab to check that the setting specified for [Printer Name or IP Address] matches that configured in the machine. If there is no port to use or the IP address of the machine is changed, generate a port by following the procedure for changing the standard TCP/IP port described in the "Printer Driver Installation Guide." Installing the Printer Driver Is the computer communication restricted by firewalls? Use the operation panel to set <Address Filter> to <Off>.

By following the procedure for changing the standard TCP/IP port described in the "Printer Driver Installation Guide," change the print protocol to LPD and enable LRP Byte Counting.
Installing the Printer Driver Can you print from another computer on the network? If printing is not available from other computers, either contact your local authorized Canon dealer or the Canon help line.
If you are using the SMB network
Are the SMB settings configured correctly? In particular, check that the DHCP server and WINS server are connected properly if you are using them.
Configuring SMB If the SMB settings are correctly configured, set a time value slightly longer than usual in <Network Delay Time>.

If you are using the USB connection
Is the correct port selected?
Checking the Printer Port If there is no port to use or you are unsure of the port, reinstall the printer driver. Installing the Printer Driver Is the bidirectional communication enabled? If you have enabled the bidirectional communication, restart the computer and the machine.

Connect the machine to another USB port of the computer.
Uninstall the USB class driver, and then reinstall the printer driver.

If you are connecting via the print server
Can you print from the print server? If you can print from the print server, check the connection between the print server and your computer.
