Control panel

The control panel consists of keys such as Home key, Stop key, a display, and status indicators. You can perform all the operations and specify settings from the control panel.

Feeder / Platen cover

Automatically feeds originals into the machine for scanning. When two or more sheets are loaded in the feeder, originals can be scanned continuously. 2-Sided Double Pass Feeder (DADF-AZ)
The platen cover secures the originals placed on the platen glass. Platen Cover-AA
* The feeder and platen cover are optional.

USB port (Front-right side of the machine)

You can connect devices such as a USB memory device to the machine.
The USB port (front-right side of the machine) supports USB 2.0.
* The machine can supply a maximum power of 5 V 500 mA. Connecting a device that requires more power may damage the machine.

Right cover of the main unit

Open this cover when clearing a paper jam inside the machine. Paper Jams in a Paper Source

USB port (Rear-right side of the machine)

Use this port to connect devices such as a third-party USB keyboard.
The USB port (rear-right side of the machine) supports USB 2.0.
* The machine can supply a maximum power of 5 V 500 mA. Connecting a device that requires more power may damage the machine.

Connect a USB cable when connecting the machine and a computer.
The USB connector supports USB 2.0.

LAN port

Connect a LAN cable when connecting the machine to a wired LAN router, etc. Connecting to a Wired LAN

Power switch

Turns the power of the machine ON and OFF.

Output tray paper supporter

Raise this supporter so that printed paper does not fall down.

Printed and copied paper is ejected to the output tray.

Toner Code

This code indicates the type of genuine toner that can be used with the machine. Use toner with a code that includes the same letters as the code on the front cover of the machine.
