Set whether color or black and white copying is performed for each paper source when the paper source is changed according to the color setting (color mode) for copying.
This setting is enabled only when [Consider Color] in [Paper Source Auto Selection] is set to [On].

Color Setting and Color Mode When Copying
When [Auto (Color/B&W)] is selected in [Select Color], the machine automatically determines whether to handle the original as a color or black and white document.
When a setting other than [Auto (Color/B&W)] and [Black & White] is selected in [Select Color], the machine handles the original as a color document.
The machine handles the original as a color document regardless of the [Select Color] setting in the following cases:
When the Merge Job Blocks setting is configured
When the Different Size Originals setting and the Job Build setting are both enabled

For each paper source, configure the settings for the paper feed method when printing on paper with images such as logos.
By default, when using such type of paper, the paper feed method varies depending on whether you perform 1-sided printing or 2-sided printing. When you select [Print Side Priority] for a paper source, always load the paper in the manner used for 2-sided printing, regardless of whether you perform 1-sided printing or 2-sided printing.
Orientation for Loading Paper with a Logo* When you select [Print Side Priority], the speed of 1-sided printing decreases. In addition, the Auto Select Paper setting is disabled.

NOTE
If you select [Print Side Priority] for a paper source loaded with paper that cannot be used for 2-sided printing, the [Load paper.] message appears and the paper is not fed, or the [Speed Priority] operation is performed.

Set whether to operate the paper separation fan even before recognition is performed, when the paper type setting for the multi-purpose tray is set to [Auto-Recog. When Printing].
When you use Coated paper, it is recommended that you set this to [On].
Even when [On] is selected, the paper separation fan stops when paper other than Coated paper is recognized.
Depending on the usage environment, the paper separation fan may not operate even when [On] is selected.

Configure the setting to print the next document when the specified amount of time elapses after printing is suspended.

NOTE
If paper runs out during printing, the next document is not printed when the specified amount of time elapses.
The machine retains the data of suspended print jobs. To automatically delete this data, configure the [Auto Delete Suspended Jobs] setting.
