This section describes how to configure the output paper size that is different from the settings for the entire document only for the specified chapter.
In addition, refer to the following as necessary.
1.
Select (chapter) to select the chapter for which you want to configure the output paper size in the [Page Tree] list in the Navigation Pane.
If the [Page Tree] list is not displayed, see the following.
2.
Click (Chapter Settings) on the Toolbar.
Or, follow the procedure below.
Select the [Document] menu > [Chapter Settings].
Right-click a chapter name for which you want to change the settings on the [Page Tree] list, and select [Chapter Settings].
The [Chapter Settings] dialog box is displayed.
Note
If buttons are not displayed on the Document Binder Toolbar, set the buttons on the Toolbar. For more information, see the following.
3.
Select the [Specify output paper for selected chapter] check box in the [Layout Settings] tab.
4.
Select the output paper size from [Output Size].
5.
Click [OK].
Note
The Status Bar shows the specified output paper size for the entire document.
The setting items in [Output Size] vary depending on the printer selected in [Printer Name].
If [Output Size] is set to [Auto], and the [Specify page layout for selected chapter] check box is not selected for the entire document/chapter, if you set [Page Layout] to any value other than [1 on 1] for the entire document, the [Output Size] configured for the chapter becomes invalid.
If you set [Output Size] to something other than [Auto] for a document including different page orientations or sizes, pages of which the orientation/size is different from the orientation/size of the current paper are automatically enlarged or reduced to fit the paper width (they are not automatically rotated).
If you set the output paper size for a chapter, the chapter icon displayed in the [Page Tree] list changes to the icon and the chapter name changes to blue.
When [Auto] is selected in [Output Size], operations will vary depending on the settings in [Select Paper Size]. For more information, see the following.
[Settings] > [System Settings] > [Common Settings] > [Print/Fax] > [Select Paper Size]
When using Custom Paper Type, it must be registered in the printer selected in [Printer Name] in advance.
You can temporarily register a custom paper size depending on the printer you are using. In this case, if the paper size corresponding with the original size is not registered in the printer, you can temporarily register a custom paper size and print the document using the registered custom paper size, even when this check box is not selected.
