Installing MEAP Applications
Obtain the license file required to install a MEAP application, and then use the SMS to install the application.
* If the license access number is not provided in the MEAP application package, you do not need to obtain the license file. The license file will be provided from the application provider. For more information, refer to the manual of each application.
NOTE
A maximum of 19 MEAP applications can be installed on the machine. A maximum of 4 GB storage space can be used by MEAP applications.

Depending on the MEAP application, specific conditions are required when installing the application. For more information, refer to the manual of the application to be used.
Step 1: Obtaining the License File
Required Preparations
Have the license access number provided in the MEAP application package at hand.
Prepare the serial number of the machine.
When you press [
] on the [Home] screen or other screen of the control panel, the serial number is displayed at the bottom left of the screen.

From a web browser on a computer, access the URL below, and obtain the license file following the instructions on the screen.
When you have obtained the license file, install the MEAP application.
Step 2: Installing the MEAP Application
Install the MEAP application using the SMS from a computer. You cannot use the control panel to install the application.

Log in to Remote UI as an administrator. Starting Remote UI

On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Service Management Service]. Remote UI Portal Page

Click [Install MEAP Application].
The [Install MEAP Application/License] screen is displayed.

Click [Choose File] and specify the files to be installed.
Specify both the application file and license file.
The file with the extension ".jar" is the application file.
The file with the extension ".lic" is the license file.

Set [Operation to Perform:].
Select whether to start the MEAP application automatically after the installation is completed.

Click [Install]

If the license agreement screen appears, check the content and then click [I Accept].
The installation starts.
When the installation is completed, the installed application is added to the list of the MEAP applications on the [MEAP Application Management] screen. [MEAP Application Management] Screen

Depending on the MEAP application, you can download the manual and related software from the URL below.
To update the version of the MEAP application, stop using the application in the SMS temporarily, and then use the same procedure as the installation. Managing the MEAP Applications
If an error message appears on the SMS screen while installing the MEAP application, follow the instructions on the error message to solve the problem.
