Configure the settings for the machine's network environment.

Set whether the network-related settings can be viewed and changed. Unlocking the Network Settings

Configure the settings for using SNMP management software to set, monitor, and control the machine. Configuring SNMP

Set whether to comply with the extended protocol specifications (RFC2790) when you monitor the status of the machine using SNMP management software.
When you use SNMP management software that does not support the specifications extended by RFC2790 (hrPrinterDetectedErrorState), select [Off].

Set whether to use the dedicated port.
The dedicated port is used for configuring and referencing the machine from Canon drivers or utility software.

Set the authentication method when using the dedicated port.
When you select [Mode 2], communications that use the dedicated port will be limited to secure authentication methods. Therefore, you may not be able to connect to the machine from device management software, drivers, or other software.

Set whether the print data sent to the machine is spooled in the storage device of the machine.

Set the amount of time that the machine waits to start communication after startup.
When connected to a switching hub, the machine may not be able to connect to the network properly, even if the machine settings are configured properly. In this case, set the waiting time for connection and try connecting again.

* When you set [Ethernet Type] to [1000BASE-T], [Communication Mode] is set to [Full Duplex].

Set whether to give priority to the exit speed or energy saving when the machine is in Sleep Mode.

Set whether to display an error message if printing cannot be performed as expected due to a problem with the AirPrint print data.
Even if [Off] is selected, [NG] is displayed in the print log when printing cannot be performed.
