[Device Manager] menu

[Status] Page

Displays the current printer status such as the amount of paper or toner remaining. If you have logged on in Administrator Mode, you can perform Configuration Page or a soft reset.

[Device Status]:
Displays the current printer status with the indicator and a status message. The colors of the indicator indicate the printer status as follows.

(gray):
The printer is offline.
(Print data cannot be received.)
Place the printer online, and then perform printing.
(green):
Normal
(The printer is ready to print.)

(yellow):
Some attention is required although this status does not affect the job.
(A Warning message is being displayed.)
Click [Error Information] and follow the displayed directions.
(red):
Cannot print for some reason.
(An Error message is being displayed.)

[Error Information]:
When clicked, displays information about the error occurring in the printer.

[Paper Information]:
Displays information about the paper sources.

[Consumables]:
Displays information about the consumables.

Displays the page that allows you to perform device controls such as a soft reset.
You can perform device controls only when you have logged on in Administrator Mode.

Displays the page that allows you to perform utility work such as Configuration Page.
You can perform utility work only if you have logged on as Administrator.

[Information] Page

Displays general information about the printer.

[Administrator Settings]:
Displays information about the administrator password and the job operation permission to the end-users.

[IP Address Range (IP v. 4)]/[IP Address Range (IP v. 6)]:
Displays information about the users who are permitted or restricted to print or specify the settings.

[Permitted Receiving MAC Address]:
Displays information about the users who can access the printer.
The information can be displayed only if [Device Settings] - [Extension Card] - [Primary Network Setting] is set to [Standard Network].

Allows you to check the settings for Power Save Mode, the printer operation when an error occurs, etc.

[Paper Source Menu] Page

Allows you to check the settings for the paper size and others when printing from the multi-purpose tray or a paper cassette.
For details on the settings, see "[Setup] Menu ([Paper Source Menu] Options) " or "[Select Feeder] Menu."

[Layout Menu] Page

Allows you to check the settings for the layout of the print format, such as adjusting the printing position and specifying a gutter value.

[Quality Menu] Page

Allows you to check the settings for the print quality, such as the toner density adjustment.
For details on the settings, see "[Setup] Menu ([Quality Menu] Options)."

[User Maintenance Menu] Page

Allows you to check the settings for the printer adjustment when an error occurs, such as the printing position adjustment from the specified paper source and recovery printing.
