Prepare the following according to the scanned data sending destination and store location:

E-mail

Configure the settings of the e-mail server to be used to send e-mail. You can also configure the POP authentication before sending, SMTP authentication, and encrypted communication settings according to the usage environment. Configuring Information of the E-mail Server

Shared folder

Prepare a shared folder that serves as the sending destination for the scanned data.

You can also create a new shared folder. Creating a Shared Folder

* By registering the information of the shared folder to be used as the sending destination to the Address Book in advance, you can save the trouble of entering the information each time you send data. Registering Shared Folder Information to an Address Book

FTP server

Configure PASV mode when there is a firewall between the FTP server and the machine. Configuring FTP PASV Mode

Windows server

No preparations are needed when sending scanned data.

When saving scanned data, set the Windows server information. Preparations for Using Another Machine or Server on the Network

Mail Box on the machine

Set the PIN and box name, as needed. Mail Box Settings

Advanced Space on the machine

Configure the settings to open Advanced Space on the network. Preparations for Using Advanced Space

Create a personal space, as needed. Creating a Personal Space in Advanced Space

Advanced Space on another machine

No preparations are needed when sending scanned data.

When saving scanned data, set the Advanced Space information. Preparations for Using Another Machine or Server on the Network

USB memory device

Configure the settings to enable saving of scanned data to a USB memory device. Preparations for Using a USB Memory Device

Registering Destinations

When you want to use Easy Scan and Send/Easy Scan and Send to send data, register the destinations to the Address Book in advance.
Although you can specify the destination when you configure detailed settings for sending, you can save the trouble of specifying the destination each time by registering destinations in advance. Registering Destinations (Address Book)
