Block Editing/Object Editing
Editing in Object Layout Editor
You can perform block editing and object editing of binder documents if you start Object Layout Editor from Document Binder.
In the block edit mode, margins can be adjusted. By reducing margins, you can cut down the amount of paper you use.
The object editing mode enables you to modify characters and change the position of objects. This operation can edit objects in more detail than block editing, so it also can finely adjust page layouts.
You can easily switch between the block editing mode and object editing mode with the
button.

For more information about how to start Object Layout Editor, see the following.
The object edit mode displays instead of .

In both the modes, you can temporarily save changes when Object Layout Editor is terminated. The temporarily saved information is incorporated into the binder document when you save the document on Document Binder.
Note
|
In order not to modify documents themselves at the same time as adding text or objects to them, use Annotation Editor. For information on annotations, see the following.
Changes made in Annotation Editor are not incorporated into binder documents and PDF documents, and are saved as additional information.

Block Edit Mode
To perform block editing on Object Layout Editor, it is necessary to use the block edit mode.
A block is a group of fine objects (elements such as text and graphics on a document) that are placed close to each other. A block is virtually formed (made into a block) by Object Layout Editor.
When you display pages in the block edit mode, objects are automatically made into a block.
The width of a block is the same as that of a page.
In the block edit mode, the consecutive 2 pages or selected 2 pages are displayed in the
Work Pane. When you move the mouse pointer, blocks are highlighted.
In the block edit mode, you can select and move blocks individually, and automatically reduce margins.
