Types of Address Books

The types of address books that can be used with this driver and the file formats that you can register or import are indicated below.

You can import and export the content of the address book.

File formats that can be imported

CSV Files (*.csv)

Canon Address Book (*.abk)

Device Setting Information Files (*.dcm)

Only files exported from a device with security level 1

The Canon Fax Driver Address Book can be exported in the CSV Files (*.csv) or Canon Address Book (*.abk) file format.

File formats that can be registered

MAPI profiles registered in Outlook

If the driver is being used in a 64-bit environment, you can register a 64-bit version of the Microsoft Outlook address book.

However, the Microsoft Outlook address book cannot be registered if it is shared in a virtual environment such as a Citrix Virtual Apps environment.

File formats that can be registered

Windows Address Book (*.wab)

If you do not specify the file path, the default Windows Address Book is registered.

To register an address book exported from a device to this driver, it must include one of the following sub address books.

Address List 1 to 10

One-Touch

Address List for Administrators

Use the control panel of the device you are using or the Remote UI to check whether one of the above sub address books is included.
