Registering Documents/Folders

Start Desktop Browser.

Create a library.

Register documents and/or folders to the library.

Editing Documents

1.
Edit documents.
Start Desktop modules to edit documents.
2.
Save edited documents.
Save the changes in the Desktop modules.
Note
The changes in Object Layout Editor/Variable Editor are saved in Document Binder.

Printing and Sending Documents

Note
You must configure the output icon settings if you want to print and fax a document from Desktop.
In order to send documents via e-mail, an e-mail account must be created in advance.

Managing Jobs and Devices

There are two methods for using the job/device management functions provided by Desktop. Use the method that suits your environment.
Monitoring Target

Printers/faxes set as application-enabled ports
When a job is started
Quick Printing Tool
Printers/faxes set in the Quick Printing Tool that have application-enabled ports assigned to them
When a job is started
Monitoring Target
Device Monitoring Timing
Printer Monitor
Regularly used printers/faxes
When Printer Monitor has been started
When you click  (Main) on the task tray
When printing is performed using the default printer
When the monitoring setting for the default printer has been changed from OFF to ON
When the default printer has been changed
When the name or port of the default printer has been changed
When Output Manager Service is started or stopped
Quick Printing Tool
Printers/faxes set in the Quick Printing Tool that have application-enabled ports assigned to them
When the mouse pointer is over the Quick Printing Tool icon
Device monitoring can also be performed with the output icon of Desktop Browser.
