Using the Machine as a Scanner

The following operations and settings are required to use the machine as a scanner.
NOTE
For information on the system requirements for installing the scanner driver, see "System Requirements."

1. Connect the machine to the network.

2. Set the machine to use the TCP/IP network.

3. Install the software for specifying scanner settings (Network ScanGear) into the computer connected to the machine.
