Changing the Basis Weight
You can change the basis weight of the custom paper type.
NOTE |
If you enter a value which is different from the actual paper weight, paper jams may occur, and the quality of the image may be adversely affected. |
1.
Press 
(Settings/Registration).
(Settings/Registration).2.
Press [Preferences] → [Paper Settings] → [Paper Type Management Settings].
3.
Select the paper type that you want to edit from the list → press [Details/Edit].
4.
Press [Change] for <Basis Weight>.
5.
Press [-] or [+] to set the paper weight → [OK].
6.
Press [OK].
