Remote Fax TX Settings

You can specify settings to use the machine as the client-machine for Remote Fax.
This mode can be set when the Remote Fax function is available for use. For information on the optional products required to use the Remote Fax function, see "Optional Products Required for Each Function."

Remote Fax Server Address

You can specify the IP address or the host name for the machine which supports the Remote Fax function (Remote Fax Server) on the server-side.
You can register the IPv4 (Internet Protocol Version 4) address and IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) address.

TX Timeout

If the Remote Fax Server does not respond for the time set for the TX Timeout, the remote fax job is canceled.

No. of Sending Lines

You can set the number of lines you can select when sending remote fax. Set the number of lines to the same number of telephone lines connected to the remote fax server.

Priority TX

The line specified in [Priority TX] is selected to send if the line is not in use. When the priority line is not selected, the machine selects the line automatically.
IMPORTANT
If Department ID Management is set on the remote fax server, you can perform sending by logging in to the remote fax client using a Department ID and PIN registered in the remote fax server.

Press (Settings/Registration).

Press [Remote Fax Server Address].
Enter the host name or the IP address → press [OK].
A host name is a name assigned to a host computer that provides services on the network. Enter the name for the Remote Fax Server.
To specify the TX Timeout settings:
Press [TX Timeout].
Specify the time by pressing [-] or [+] → press [OK].
To select the number of lines to use for sending:
Press [No. of TX Lines].
Select the telephone line by pressing [-] or [+] → press [OK].
To select the line:
Press [Select Priority Line].
Select [Auto] or the line to use → press [OK].
