imagePASS Connection Restrictions and Precautions
When imagePASS is connected to the machine, some functions are restricted or unavailable. In addition, precautions are required when using Advanced Box and Remote UI.

imagePASS cannot be used at the same time as the following print function:

Other Restrictions
Reception always times out in five minutes regardless of the reception timeout setting on the machine.
The machine must be restarted after performing DNS Dynamic Update.
The address of the SIP server cannot be acquired automatically using DHCP.
The machine does not enter sleep status to enable immediate response to inquiries via the network.
Precautions When Using Advanced Box
When imagePASS Is Connected to the Machine
To configure the settings to send an e-mail notification when a file is stored to Advanced Box, specify the path to the target folder while including the port number (when TLS is disabled: 18080, when TLS is enabled: 18443) as shown below.

When using a proxy to send data to Advanced Box via [Scan and Send] on the [Home] screen, the data may not be sent even if a loopback address is specified for the destination. In this case, specify the IP address of imagePASS for the destination.
Specifying DestinationsWhen Connecting to Advanced Box on Another Device Connected to imagePASS
When sending or saving data to Advanced Box on another device connected to imagePASS, specify the destination and connection destination using the following procedure:
In [Protocol], select [WebDAV].
In [Host Name], specify an IP address or host name including the port number as shown below (when TLS is disabled: 18080, when TLS is enabled: 18443).
When TLS is disabled

Precautions When Using Remote UI
On the control panel, configure the [Network Settings] item in the [Print Server] screen in advance.
To start Remote UI, enter the following URL in a Web browser on a computer.

Click [Launch Remote UI] on the displayed WebTools screen to start Remote UI.
