Errors During Replication, Backup, and Restoration

If an error message or error code appears when you start replication or perform data backup or restoration, check the possible cause and solution.

Error Messages When Starting Replication

If replication does not start correctly, the corresponding messages shown below appear on the screen displayed after the start operation.

The [Address] is incorrect.

Check that the IP address is set correctly in the replication destination settings.
Check that the server machine and the multifunction machine set as the replication destination are on the same network and can be connected.

The authentication information is incorrect.

Check that the login user name and password are specified correctly in the replication destination settings.

A device that cannot be used as the destination for replication is set. Select a different device.

Check the network status of the multifunction machine specified as the replication destination.
The following multifunction machines cannot be specified as the replication destination:
Server machine with synchronization enabled
Multifunction machine specified as the replication destination of another server machine
Multifunction machine that is using Department ID Management
Multifunction machine using an older version of the firmware

Error Codes During Backup and Restoration

If an error occurs while data backup or restoration is being performed, the corresponding error codes shown below appear on the screen displayed after the operation.
