Configure the settings common to the functions for sending scans and faxes.
* Values in red text indicate the default setting for each item.

To register settings other than the default settings, configure the required settings on the scan (Scan and Send) screen, and then select this item.

Set whether the machine automatically prints TX reports. Printing Reports Automatically on Sending, Receiving and When Error Occurs
When you select [On], the machine prints a report each time you send.
You can also set whether to include the sent data in the printed report.
The settings configured here are also applied to the settings in the scan (Scan and Send) screen  [Options] [TX Report]. If you select [For Error Only] or [Off], and set [Allow Printing from Options] to [On], you can change the settings from here when you send.

Set whether the machine automatically prints and sends the Communication Management Report. Printing and Checking a Communication Management Report
The Communication Management Report includes the TX log for scanned data and the TX and RX logs for faxes.
Configure the settings to print or send the report at either of the following times:
When a specified number of transmissions is completed
At a specified time
When you set the machine to send the report, the report is sent in CSV format to the destination specified in [Backup Location].

Set whether the following sender information is printed at the top of faxes and I-Faxes at the sending destination:

When you select [Print], you can also configure the settings described below.
To align the print position with the beginning of the text or images on the sent pages, set [Print Position] to [Inside]. To print outside the beginning of the text or images on the sent pages, set this to [Outside].
To also print the name of the destination registered in the address list, set [Display Destination Unit Name] to [On].
To indicate that the fax number of the machine is used as a telephone number, set [Telephone No. Mark] to [TEL].
* This setting is disabled when you use the machine as a Remote Fax client machine, because the settings of the server machine are used.

Set whether the machine automatically deletes data from the memory when a sending or storing error occurs.
If an error occurs when this is set to [Off], you can send or store the data again from [Job Status] on the [Status Monitor] screen.

Set the number of times that the machine tries to automatically resend data when the data cannot be sent due to the status on the receiving side, or when an error occurs.

Set the compression ratio for data scanned in full color or grayscale.

Set the gamma value to use when data scanned in full color or grayscale is converted to YCbCr.
By setting the same gamma value as that of the display used on the receiving side, you can display images that are faithful to the original.

Set whether to use the divided chunk send function when you send data to a WebDAV file server.
With the divided chunk send function, files of an unknown size are divided into chunks of a known length when they are sent. This function can reduce the transmission time by eliminating the need to calculate the file size.

Set whether to verify the server certificate when you send data to a WebDAV server using TLS encrypted communication. You can also add the Common Name (CN) to the verification items.

Processes handled by the machine, including sending scanned data and faxes, are managed as jobs. Set whether to display a confirmation screen after you perform a scan or fax operation, to check that it was accepted as a job.
Select [On] to display the confirmation screen. From that screen, you can display another screen to check the sending status and log.

Set the job that is canceled when you press [ Stop] after performing a scan or fax operation.
If you select [Job Being Sent] and try to cancel a job while faxes are being sent on multiple lines at the same time, the most recent one of those jobs is canceled.

Set whether to display a warning when the user adds a destination to the setting history recalled from the Timeline.
