Associating Universal Print Information with Users
You can associate users registered to the local device with user information that uses Universal Print and manage that user information.
* You can still operate Universal Print without configuring these settings.
NOTE
Automatically Registering Picture Login Users
The following user information can be registered automatically when printing from a Microsoft 365 account. To use this function, enable [Register Automatically When Job Is Received] in the settings for the user registration method.

Log in to Remote UI.
Starting Remote UI2
On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Settings/Registration].

[Authentication Management].
The [Change User Information] screen is displayed.

Configure the user information in [Information for Universal Print].
Enter an e-mail address or telephone number associated with a Microsoft 365 account in [User Name for Universal Print].

Click [Update].
The settings are applied.

Log out from Remote UI.
Configuring the User Information (Administrator)
Configure this setting using Remote UI from a computer. You cannot use the control panel to configure the setting.
Administrator privileges are required.

Log in to Remote UI as an administrator.

On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Settings/Registration].

The [User Management] screen is displayed.

Click [Edit] for the user whose information you want to configure.
The [Edit User Information] screen is displayed.
If the user is not registered, click [Add User] instead of [Edit], and specify [Information for Universal Print] when registering the new user information.

Specify the user information in [Information for Universal Print].
Enter an e-mail address or telephone number associated with a Microsoft 365 account in [User Name for Universal Print].

Click [Update].
The settings are applied.

Log out from Remote UI.
Configuring Batch Settings Using a CSV File (Administrator)
You can edit a CSV file to associate users registered to the local device with user information that uses Universal Print.
Configure this setting using Remote UI from a computer. You cannot use the control panel to configure the setting.
Administrator privileges are required.

Log in to Remote UI as an administrator.

On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Settings/Registration].

The [Settings for Universal Print] screen is displayed.

Click [Start Export] and save the CSV file to the computer.
If no user information associated with a Microsoft 365 account has been registered, click [Add Association] to add a user associated with a Microsoft 365 account, and then click [Start Export].

Edit the exported CSV file.
Enter the name of the user registered to the local device in "mcp_uid."
Enter an e-mail address or telephone number associated with a Microsoft 365 account in "azureaccount_name."

Click [Import].
The [Import Associations] screen is displayed.

In [File Path], click [Choose File] to specify the edited CSV file.

Click [Start Import].
The file is imported.

After the import is completed, log out from Remote UI.
